Suddenly and all at once. Wisconsin’s local media has been great in keeping up with data center coverage, but it’s largely a drumbeat — a new zoning petition, a community meeting, a protest, a rate increase case, a new proposal unveiled.

I started developing this beat while at a progressive radio network, where data center news was challenging to distill down. Updates on data centers across Wisconsin unfold every day. Data centers touch every part of our lives — our work, our communities, our land, our government, and our pocketbooks.

This newsletter attempts to do something a little different: round up the data center news across Wisconsin, and present the patterns that emerge. It started as a personal habit of aggregating developments. Then I figured, why not share it with you?”
